Cecilia
Cecilia grew up with her family on a sailboat, traveling to remote places around the world, living in harmony with nature and learning to appreciate the little things in life. From her childhood, she lived the Ayurvedic and Yogic lifestyle that her mother introduced to her and enjoyed accompanying her in her daily practices.
At the age of 15, Cecilia traveled to India alone to take part in a student exchange and experience the Indian culture, which fascinated her. While studying International Business Administration at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, she returned to India to get certified in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga.
After completing her bachelor's degree, including an exchange semester in Santiago de Chile, she moved to Brazil, where she continued to pursue her passion: teaching yoga and offering Ayurvedic cooking classes together with her mother Ingrid Reygers. At the same time, Cecilia began an online course at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York to deepen her knowledge in this field.
She deepened her knowledge by studying Ayurveda at the American Institute for Vedic Studies and further yoga training at the Sivananda Ashram in Madurai, India. Mother and daughter regularly travel to India to take part in practical courses in yoga and Ayurveda and to undergo Panchakarma treatments with an Ayurvedic doctor.
Today, mother and daughter are based together in Spain and, together with the ALONGA team, are developing new exciting projects in the areas of yoga, nutrition, health and well-being.
