Carrot-Apple Porridge

Porridge doesn't have to be boring – you just have to season it properly!

Ingredients:

  • ½ tsp ghee

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ¼ cup grated carrot

  • ¼ cup grated apple

  • ½ tsp Madhura Spice Mix

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • 3 dates, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp almonds, chopped

  • 1 cup plant-based milk

  • ¼ cup hot water

Preparation:

  1. Lightly toast the oat flakes, carrots and apple in ghee.

  2. Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes .

  3. Add a little Madhura Spice Mix at the end, according to taste.
